Our First Tiny House on a trailer project is underway.  A while back I got a call from Amber, a fellow Washingtonian. Amber was looking at a few of our tiny house kits.  She was considering the mini Mountainberry and when she mentioned liking yurts I sent her some sketches of some other tiny houses we are working on.  During one of our lively conversations Amber confessed that what she really really was wanting was a tiny house on trailer. She loved the flexibility of being able to move it someday.  She love the whole idea of one.

Well, it turns out that Amber had all kinds of ideas…notebooks full.   I put her in touch with our designer and resident construction expert and the two of them started working out the details.   We happened to have a trailer at our shop that was perfect for the job.  Amber came to visit our shop and was as delightful in person as she was on the phone.  She’s full of energy and has a deep desire to have her dream realized.  We could not be more excited to be on this journey with her. To honor her grandmother’s heritage this new tiny house has been named “Spirit Rider”.

Because this is our first time on this type of project we plan to be a bit more involved when it comes to the little things than we likely will be on future projects.  In the future the plan is to provide the basic shell kit with the owner finishing it out more extensively. This first one gives us a chance to experiment a bit and for Amber to have some direct input.  I can't imagine how much fun this is going to be!
